घरों के दाम बढ़ने लगे हैं, मुंबई में घरों की कीमत 10 % से ज्यादा बढ़ी-RBI
मुंबई, बंगलुरू, अहमदाबाद, लखनऊ, कानपुर, कोच्चि में मकानों की कीमत  वित्त वर्ष 2016-17 की जनवरी-मार्च तिमाही के दौरान सालाना आधार पर 10.5 प्रतिशत बढ़ी है। रिजर्व बैंक ने अपने ताजा ऑल इंडिया  हाउस प्राइस इंडेक्स में इसकी जानकारी दी है। इंडेक्स के मुताबिक, चेन्नई में मकान की कीमत में मामूली कमी देखने को मिली है। 

आपको बता दें कि ऑल इंडिया  हाउस प्राइस इंडेक्स  के तहत आरबीआई मुंबई, दिल्ली, चेन्नई, कोलकाता, बंगलुरू, लखनऊ, अहमदाबाद, जयपुर, कानपुर और कोच्चि में मकान की कीमतों में आए बदलाव को आधार बनाते हुए इंडेक्स तैयार करता है। 

अगर तिमाही आधार पर इन शहरों के मकानों की कीमत में बदलाव की तुलना करें, तो कोच्चि में सबसे ज्यादा 18.3 प्रतिशत कीमत बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिली है, जबकि चेन्नई में सबसे ज्यादा 6.7 प्रतिशत की गिरावट। 
All-India House Price Index (HPI) recorded marginal increase in Q4:2016-17
Today, the Reserve Bank today released the quarterly House Price Index (HPI)1 (base 2010-11=100) for Q4:2016-17, based on transaction data received from housing registration authorities in 10 major cities (viz., Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kanpur and Kochi). Time series data on all-India and city-wise HPI are available in the Database of Indian Economy (DBIE) portal (https://dbie.rbi.org.in/DBIE/dbie.rbi?site=statistics > RealSector > Price&Wages > Quarterly).
Highlights:
  • The all-India HPI recorded a sequential increase (i.e., Q4:2016-17 over Q3:2016-17) of 0.8 per cent in Q4:2016-17 with six of the ten cities recording a rise in sequential terms- Kochi recorded the highest rise (18.3 per cent) whereas Chennai witnessed significant contraction [(-) 6.7 per cent].
  • On an annual basis, the all-India HPI increased by 10.5 per cent with Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Kanpur and Kochi recording double-digit annual growth whereas Chennai witnessed a marginal moderation in housing prices.
