मई में खुदरा महंगाई दर (CPI) बढ़कर 4.87 प्रतिशत सालाना पर पहुंची
इस साल  मई में खुदरा महंगाई दर (CPI)सालाना और मासिक दोनों आधार पर बढ़ी है।  ताजा सरकारी आंकड़ों  के मुताबिक, मई में खुदरा महंगाई दर 4.87% दर्ज की गई, जो कि पिछले साल इसी अवधि में 2.18% थी और इस साल अप्रैल में 4.58% थी। 

अगर इस दौरान खुदरा खाद्य महंगाई दर (CFPI) की बात करें तो पिछले साल मई में यह (-) 1.05% थी  जो कि इस साल मई में बढ़कर 3.10% दर्ज की गई। इस साल अप्रैल में CFPI 2.80%थी। 
आपको बता दें कि सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम क्रियान्वयन मंत्रालय खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति के आकलन के लिये चुनिंदा शहरों तथा गांवों से आंकड़े एकत्रित करता है।

अप्रैल में खुदरा महंगाई (CPI)बढ़कर 4.58% हुई
उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक आधार (CPI) पर महंगाई में वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है। सोमवार को जारी  आंकड़ों के मुताबिक मार्च के 4.28 % के मुकाबले अप्रैल में 4.58 % मुद्रास्फीति दर्ज की गई।  हालांकि, आम आदमी के लिए राहत की बात यह है कि खाद्य महंगाई दर में तेजी नहीं आई। सब्जियों के दामों में भी नरमी रही, लेकिन अनाज, मांस, मछली और फलों की कीमतों में तेजी रही। कपड़े और जूतों भी महंगे हो गए। 

लगातार तीन महीनों तक खुदरा महंगाई दर में कमी आने के बाद पिछले महीने इसमें उछाल दिखा है। पिछले साल अप्रैल में मुद्रास्फीति दर 2.99 % रही। 

केंद्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (CSO) ने बताया कि प्रोटीन की प्रचुरता वाले आइटम्स मांस और मछली की कीमतों में 3.59 % की वृद्धि हुई, जबकि मार्च में यह 3.17 % रही। इसी तरह फलों की महंगाई दर मार्च के 5.78 % के मुकाबले 9.65 % रही। हालांकि, सब्जियों की महंगाई दर मार्च की तुलना में 11.7 % से घटकर 7.29 % रही। 

CSO की ओर से यह भी बताया गया कि फ्यूल और लाइट सेगमेंट में भी पिछले महीने की तुलना में कीमत घटी है।

CPI for Rural, Urban and Combined for the month of March 2018
The Central Statistics Office (CSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has revised the Base Year of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 2010=100 to 2012=100 with effect from the release of indices for the month of January 2015.
2.             In this press note, the CPI (Rural, Urban, Combined) on Base 2012=100 is being released for the month of March 2018. In addition to this, Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI) for all India Rural, Urban and Combined are also being released for March 2018. All India Inflation rates (on point to point basis i.e. current month over same month of last year, i.e., March 2018 over March 2017), based on General Indices and CFPIs are given as follows:

4.         Provisional indices for the month of March 2018 and also the final indices for February 2018 are being released with this note for all-India and for State/UTs. All-India provisional General (all-groups), Group and Sub-group level CPI and CFPI numbers for March 2018 for Rural, Urban and Combined are given in Annexure I. The inflation rates of important categories of items are given in Annexure II. State/UT wise provisional General CPI numbers for Rural, Urban and Combined are given in Annexure III. Inflation rates of major States, having population more than 50 lakhs as per population Census 2011, are given in Annexure IV. State/UT–wise Group CPIs are available on the Ministry’s website (www.mospi.gov.in).  
5.             Price data are collected from selected towns by the Field Operations Division of NSSO and from selected villages by the Department of Posts. Price data are received through web portals, maintained by the National Informatics Centre.
Next date of release:  14th May 2018 (Monday) for April 2018.
